Holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Ambrose Alli University, Master of Business Education from University of Benin and currently a doctoral student in Business Education at the University of Benin
Jacob’s venture into microfinance is traceable to LAPO Microfinance Bank (the biggest microfinance organisation in West Africa) when he joined the bank as a Client Support Officer widely known as Loan Officer and rose through the ranks as Branch Head of Operations to Deputy Zonal Head of Operations before his appointment in 2015 as a Training and Development Specialist at LAPO Institute.
Jacob was instrumental to the institute’s visibility in Lagos organizing several capacity building programmes for microfinance banks and institutions in the entire south western region of Nigeria.
Jacob bagged the award for “Best Qualifying Student” in the certified microfinance practitioner's examination conducted by the UK Microfinance Association in 2016 and has attended numerous capacity building programmes with local and international organisations.
