New-world Oboh is an expert in development communication and public relations. A graduate of Mass Communication with specialty in Print Journalism, New-World’ other core competencies and interest include social research and health empowerment project implementation. New-world began his career with LAPO in 2007, and has held several positions over the years. He took a leading role in the implementation of NECAIN health intervention programme on HIV/AIDS prevention programme in Edo. He was also part of the team that pioneered and implemented the LAPO social and health empowerment programme in Enugu State. He has conducted various social and business researches for LAPO Microfinance Bank Ltd as part of measures to deepen financial inclusion in Nigeria. New-World is currently the Head, Communication and Publication at the LAPO Institute.
